About me
My name Dr. Vanda Tuxhorn, I was born in Slovakia and I’m the head of the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatal Medicine in Demmin, Germany. With my team I will help you to take advantage of the opportunity to find a job in the highest quality German medical facilities.
The German healthcare sector currently represents an attractive opportunity for doctors of every specialisation. We go even further. We work with language teachers who specialise in medical German. And thanks to my personal experience, we can help you start a new stage in your career without unnecessary complications.
My Journey
After finishing my medical degree in 1991, I began working at the hospital in Bojnice. I worked in the Slovak health sector for 18 years. I was certified in paediatrics and neonatology, worked in the paediatric and later in the neonatal department. In 2009 I decided to go abroad. I started to learn English intensively, contacted a recruitment agency and the same year I accepted a position as a doctor in a paediatric department in the north of the Netherlands.
In 2015, I moved to Germany, where I am still working as a head of paediatric department. The beginnings were not easy as I had to handle everything on my own. The agency only offered me a position in the hospital. I had to deal with the language, accommodation and administration on my own. This is why I decided to help any fellow doctor who wants to work abroad.
